Also does one really have to look beyond the results of no information rule that BASS installed? Massive migration to a pie in sky league. This is a black eye for sport, a real enlightening one about tournament fishing in general.

The funny part is that so many run out and pay stupid prices for imported baits or stupid looking baits that will likely only be effective for them a few times in their lifetime. It is getting beyond ridiculous honestly.

something about ths deal doesn't seem right....according to what I've read,BASS has disqualified Tucker Smith for not reporting one fisherman yelling at other fishermen for fishing too close to a contestant...this has got to have happened many times over the years in other tournaments .....keep in mind this is a young kid and like most of us is not going to tell an older man what to do or not do especially an attorney that was held in high regard by several members of the BASS staff....
unless they can prove (or Tucker admitted it,) that he and the lawyer collaborated to run people off a spot,I don't see where a fisherman should be punished what another person did.....

I think the Sprague cheating incident at the BPT was handled much better. They knew about the incident and only addressed it, when posted on FB by Randy Flowers.

I originally defended the young fella, but apparently there was enough evidence to DQ him and it was probably warranted. Might help to keep this from happening again in the future.

“To be clear, I was disqualified because I did not report the situation to B.A.S.S. Officials, I was not disqualified for cheating in the event, I respect the sport too much to try and gain an edge by crossing lines.

This is from the kid himself. He was then heard on appeal and it was upheld.
