. . . on going lithium.

Seems there's a good following and a good reputation with "Ionic" brand LiFePO4 batteries. (search function on the TFF worked well)

I run a 24V TM , 80#, so going with 2 - 12V 50AH for that system.

Electronics and starting battery I'm going 12v 100AH. (2 10" HB console and front deck and will also get Livescope)

Getting a 3 bank 10Amp Lithium compatible charger from Ionic also.

Any critique on this setup.

The other half don't know this yet . . . maybe some prayers too?

1. I hope they don't blow up on you

2. You'll be replacing them in a few years anyway

3. Go with a maintenance free lead deep cycle and save money

for what?

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

Changing all the batteries on my boat. Wanted to go Lithium because of dependability and maintenance freedom.

I just put (3) 12v50ah and (1) 12v125ah in my boat, and upgraded change my trolling motor to the Garmin Force......on HOP's recommendation. They have been great so far. Bought mine thru Drewcraft.

Now this is an excellent response here . . . plenty of mojo !!! cheers

Looked at their site. I'm getting essentially the same deal from a dealership on the NW side of Htown. $1700 including the charger.
