Are there more or less trails in texas now? I can think of some that have gone away but no new startups. TTZ, Bud light & Ignition just of the top of my head are all gone now.

Contingency pay outs will help but I wish they'd level the playing field a little more but when you award a large part of the payout as a boat, truck ATV, SXS, etc it makes it a little hard to do that. If you look at a lot of the tournament circuits today it's pretty much the norm to pay out assets instead of cash. I just wonder how a circuit would do with the same overall pay outs value wise but all cash and spread out better across the field?
Contingency payouts pretty much put you in a fishing jersey and decals all over your rig. I'm not a big fan of all that but if it keeps me out there.................

If you are in the business of trying to make money fishing TC is 100 percent correct. Where he misses the boat is not everyone is in the business to try and make a living at it. Some just want an outlet for competition, the people with everyday real jobs etc. The TTO payouts are pretty damn solid for a local type trail if you ask me.

There have been small trails pop up down here near Houston in the last few years than I can count.
