OF COURSE I had two GoPros in the boat and NEITHER one turned on!  Nevertheless, I managed this one on a chatterbait - firecraw jackhammer with a bright blade. Felt like I hooked a stump, but I knew there aren't any stumps there! Pulled drag, jumped out of the water 3x and ran me around the boat for a minute. My son was ready with the net to help! I've caught and logged well over 1,000 fish from this neighborhood lake, handful of fish over 5#, 2 6# fish and this one 8# is by far my biggest ever.
