Combination of use...he fished pockets, sight fished, and use FFS. Same as Wheeler and a few others.

He definitely used it some shallow, it doesn't always tell the truth, he saw one that he thought was big on FFS and caught in with a jerkbait only to realize is wouldn't cull and was a wasted 2lb10oz he could have used tomorrow.

I believe the Ivie rush has soured him.

I cannot blame him honestly, the poor girl has been worked over more than Marilyn Chambers...

He has had that bitterness for a while. I think it’s a carry over from single handedly keeping all the business in every town and village in a 100 mile radius of Ivie open during the lean times when the lake was low times were tough. Now that it’s up and fishing good….well you I’m sure you get the picture.

Can hardly wait for the classic, maybe this year they will have a camera crew behind the port o cans where the actual weigh-in is going on, and we then get to see everyone and go PRESS THE BIG RED BUTTON for the big reveal. No actual fish on the stage allowed.

Was great… now sucks…him and 2usedfish can’t shake the hate for the initial breakup when 90% of the top pros in the world decided to Leave bass. And by the way like 4 went back after 3 years, I don’t do math too good what’s that percentage? I bet it equals your rolling 5yr salary increase haha.

I'm sure Marty Stone got this one set up. And don't forget it was set up when it was a "every fish counts" league. Then you would have "40lb" days. Norman is a great lake for numbers. Not a trophy lake. There will be a surprise or two throughout the week. Last time I was out on the lake we got two spots over 4.5lbs each. The guys that get keyed in on the correct forage will win

It is still boring. A tournament that is supposed to be "bigger than the Classic" is a snooze fest.

Then don’t watch- you sound like a gripey little BI.

Those kids (young men) are such hammers, don’t see how any of the olds will ever compete against them.

You going to start another one of those "You heard it here first..." thread to highlight that everyone over the age of 40 is DONE in the tournament scene? roflmao

About 80% on the more little fish tour have no shot at winning. If I was the ding crew no way I would ever leave that gravy train!

Now that MLF is actually cutting the bottom 10 every year the geritol crew should be sent packing before long.
