Former Cowboys WR Michael Irvin said Marriott’s treatment of him “sickens” him, likening it to a Black man being lynched because of a false accusation from a white woman.

I have been following this. It wouldn't surprise me if Michael made comments to her earlier in the day and she just went out there to shake his hand and then report back to Management as they watched that that was the man who made inappropriate comments. Management then discusses what to do and decides to kick him out and report his alleged conduct to the NFL Network who is probably paying for his room. That is the only scenario that makes sense to me.

i like the heck out of Michael, but when you have a shady past it leaves you open to this kind of stuff........

If we have learned nothing, we have learned to wait for the case to progress and for the facts to come out. I have an opinion, but I really don’t know what happened. I just look at accusations against a high profile person with more than a little skepticism.

They say to always believe the victim. Is she the victim or is he? Believe the victim, not the accuser... until the facts are revealed.

Someone probably would have picked up on it and printed the story but if Irving had left it alone it may have been over with by now.
It could have been a he said she said and nothing come of it but he's already pointed out that he doesn't even remember talking to her, or what he or she might have said.

How can someone who does not remember the incident, be outraged? Its beyond me.

After listening to the press conf and his lawyer.. if this is bogus I suspect he is going to own a lot of Marriott stock.

So if some unknown person accused you of a crime that effectively ended your job would you not have questions? People’s lives have ruined over these hesaid/she said accusations.

This originally started with Marriot saying they had the confrontation on footage... they have been ordered by 2 different judges to produce the video and they still have not. This is incredibly suspect on Marriotts end, they will end up paying Irvin when its all said and done, probably an undisclosed amount

edit: Looks like they have finally released the video, and it shows nothing of what was alleged

Marriott claims they don't own the hotel. They only lease out the name. If that is true, then Michael Irvin maybe owning a hotel soon.
