Can anyone tell me with certainty if I can use a lithium battery for my 150 Mercury XR6 (2000) ? Looking at getting the Dakota 125 ah for starting and helm electronics. TIA.

I would pass on the Dakota and ask Drew @ Drewcraft about his Ionics.

Agreed, Dakota, depsite being the "official" battery or whatever for Bassmasters, has a very bad reputation.

Also agree on contacting Drewcraft - I've purchased several Ionics from Andy, including a 125ah that I use for Cranking my SHO and 4 Lives, AT, 3D, PP, etc as well as several other items including 3x Ionics for TM, MK Charger, PP Ladder brackets, various electronics items/wiring, etc - he has everything you need. Or contacing Will.i.am if you prefer to stay with TFF folks...

I have the 125 ah ionic for my yamaha 300.

you have to be sure the battery is rated as a start model, the ionic will do merc/yamajama.

tiltman on here sells them in his napa store , worth the drive.
