Caught this big girl on a ultralight with a small minnow. Too pretty to clean so I took a quick pic and let her go. Hooked 3 more but got broke off. Nice hybrid and I'm sure a great fight on light gear. Biggest bass and catfish I've ever caught in my 30+ years of fishing Palestine came off that bridge while crappie fishing. Plenty of big hybrids too but the biggest hybrid (14lbs) was a different part of the lake.

Pretty much sat on top of the river channel and bridge all day - caught 2 blues over 12lb - tons of smaller blues and channels - 8 keeper crappie and a bunch of unders - 2 hybrids 3 break offs - 2 gaspergoos - 2 largemouth - 2 yellow bass - 1 sandbass that was huge. It was a very active day and the weather was great.
