I don't always catch fish, but when I do, I prefer Dos Hybrids

Yes, trees on the bank, trees in the water and trees under the water grin I also couldn't find any place to wade into the water. And the sticker vines everywhere.

The best placed I stopped at was on a high bank with trees all around me and sticker vines at my feet. My fly line was constantly caught up in it, tearing it up.

But I would do it all again tomorrow. Great fishery thumb

Birds are usually the transportation device for both fish and zebra mussels

Thanks for the update and glad you caught them. I probably won't make it up there again as the catfish slip cork bite is getting hot and that's closer to home.

i stopped yesterday . It was packed. I forgot mud boots so I could not get past pasture going up the river . Some fish being caught but no big stringers in area near big parking lot. I was trying to fish a road runner without a swivel and major line twist ended my stay in a hurry.

Anyone been this past week? Taking my boys out there tomorrow. Are they further up river? Or closer to the lake?

Seen some catch some hybirds on north side. I saw one guy (looked like a Mexican) catching many hybirds. Left the spot later with a stringer of about 7 or 8 good sized hybrid striped bass. 10 at most. Even though the daily limit is 5.

You sure he wasn’t a really tanned white dude that that went to the Bahamas for spring break? No pics
