I highly recommend Zach Minnix. He guides on several lakes but Waco is his home lake. Check out his Facebook page at Jig N’ Jerk Guide Service.

Not sure how the drought is doing to effect the fishing on Waco. You would think it would concentrate them. The lake is over 10ft low which drastically effects that lake. The feeder creeks and rivers don't even connect to the lake right now.

If I fished for money.........I'd be broke.

does he guide in wintertime? thanks

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Rob or Zach are both good. I think Zach is fishing Belton currently.

I am going after Crappie. He lives in Waco but indicated he had been having good luck on Belton. I do not know if he does Bass. He has a facebook page that might tell you.
