Went out on a party boat with 10 kids and my brother. Got into some good flounder. 10 decent sized fish, great filets.

Catch & Release?
Just kidding, nice catch, that will make for some great eatin'!
Depending on the amount of fish, one or two sleeves of finely crushed saltine crackers, an equal amount of jalapeno corn meal mix (Uncle Josh's is pretty good), and a little paprica (s/p) and shazzam! Throw in some jalapeno hush puppies and you've got a first class feast.

Dem ain't flounder, dems flukes! At least that's what they call 'em up north of Joisey! Good lookin' one's too! I went fluke fishing on a party boat out of Belmar NJ with my wife's uncle several years back. With 30 people on board and me being the only southerner, I took the big fish pool with a 27" saddle blanket. I thought those Yankees were gonna string me up! walked off that boat with 200 dollars in my pocket.

That's a riot! And yes, you are correct, they are flukes. Didnt think dem sudeners would know what a fluke is.... . I too pulled a fast one 2 years ago on a cod fishing trip. Took the boat pool with a 46" 47lb fishstick. Walked off the boat with 90 in my pocket. Biggest fluke we got was 22".

Just cooked some more for lunch today. Floured them and sauteed them in butter, white wine, and lemon juice. Threw in a few capers and voila, flounda picata. now just need to figure out what to do with the other 5lbs of filets... if y'all on the cape, stop on by. (back to reality this Saturday )
