Or can you just use your 36 volt system? If you can just hook it up to your other batteries, do you think you will run out of batteries on a full day of fishing?

You don’t have to run lithiums, but I certainly wouldn’t connect it to one of the trolling motor batteries. Too much of a chance for inference from the motor. I’d either connect it to the same battery as the rest of the electronics, or use a dedicated battery for your graphs

Okay, if I added a battery in the front compartment for the electronics only, will a normal lead acid work okay for a day of fishing or do you think it would run out of battery?
2 depth finders up front and 1 on the console... You think 1 lead acid would be okay for the day? I understand you would have to charge it that evening and they dont have the juice lithiums have.

LS only draws something like 1.5-2 amps, it’s the combination of the graph and LS that adds up.

I can run three graphs, FFS, and a radio for about 8 hours on a group 31 AGM battery. Turn on some pumps and early morning lights, it’s good for about 5 hours tops. I can squeeze another two hours if I leave the console stuff on standby as I fish. It’s barely workable.

I run 3 Solix, Mega 360, live well and Ultrex for 8 hours and it holds up !

You do not "have to" run a lithium, but it's a great idea. The cycle life and flat discharge curve of a lithium is a great advantage over a traditional lead acid. This video covers what you need to know to determine the battery size you need.

I just purchased this unit for my boat at the ranch with club points. What size Lithium battery do I need to have run it with livescope for say 14 hours of fishing? Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 94sv Fish Finder/Chartplotter Combo - Transducer

I just purchased this unit for my boat at the ranch with club points. What size Lithium battery do I need to have run it with livescope for say 14 hours of fishing? Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 94sv Fish Finder/Chartplotter Combo - Transducer I have 3 9" garmin graphs, livescope and just went to a 125ah lithium start battery by ionic/3 50ah for force tm. I would go with at least a 100ah for running 2 days with no charge, should do it with ease. or go to the start battery, 125ah and don't worry about it, with how fast lithium charge a med. run will put some juice back in one. just be sure you have a charger that does lithium. minnkota 440 pc is what I have, noco genius will also handle them well. you can buy single chargers a lot cheaper but they are not marine rated so have to take them out of boat when done charging. tiltman on here sells the ionic brand, he is in wylie and will ship. one suggestion, if putting up front in a compartment I would for sure do lithium and mount it solid in a tray. one main difference is no more acid to spill/top off in summer etc. as in zero maintenance, just check the app on your phone. your boat will like the lesser weight a lot more too.

I run a 12", 10" and a 7" on the deck. Also a LVS32 and a LVS34, both with black boxes. I have a 100 AH Dakota Lithium dedicated to these units. I've gone two full days without charging with no problems. I really don't know how long it will last, but I'm very happy with what I have.

I would like to ask: I am running just the black box and my trans 32 off a Lith 20 AH battery. Will that give me a full day of running? I have just hooked it up and have had no lake time.

It pulls between 1.5-2 amps/hr, if your “full day” is less than 10 hours, you should be fine. Might be able to squeeze a bit more.

Thanks, most will be 4 to 6 hour trips. Just make sure you’re using a lithium rated charger, so that it gets 100% charged and you’re good.
