Fork is Fork.
If any of you guys were fishing Cedar Creek and had a 25 or 30 pound sack, you would post pictures everywhere and be hollering from the rooftops on how good a day it was.
25 lb + sack at fork and nary a pic.
That’s still the greatness of fork! Only lake in the United States, maybe other than Ivie , that you can catch 25 pounds and be disappointed.
Yes, I realize it’s a tournament and that the slots do not count but a 25 pound sack is still a 25 pound sack.

Fork is tough this time of year for sure and especially tough for the average Joe's. The sticks and good guides know what to do and usually find success and sometimes not. Weather right now is the key to success mostly. Temps have been on a roller coaster lately and that really has funked the bite up at Fork. We have a nice warming trend right now with night temps staying in the 60's Tuesday and Wednesday before a front rolls in Thursday. I'd bet the bite really picks by Wednesday. Been fishing Fork religiously since the early 90's and no doubt it's tougher now than back then thru early 2000's. I miss the grass.

I told my parter that I’d take a 25 pound bag over weighing in 5 for 6 pounds any day and be happy! We practiced the Friday before and got one bite and I knew that all the key ingredients were there… and we caught 4 or the 5 out of that pocket. I got pics of all 5 if anyone wants to see them lol!! Even got a 6 pounder on a buzzbait 🤓

I would say that taking a pic these days with a cell phone isn't near the time waste that it used to be with a digi camera. I'm not a picture taker hardly ever. I just know that the younger generation takes pics of everything. I'm glad bobcat had a great day on the water. Nice pics.

They will just turn to the GoPro mounted in where the light goes on the back deck, make a rad face and yell some sick lingo... and go back to fishing. Then you just capture the frame out during the editing and posting props to the mad sponsors from his jerseys that give him the proteam 10% discount.
