I am looking to book an all inclusive resort maybe a cruise to take wife and 3 kids ages 5, 10,13 this June in Mexico-any recommendations are appreciated? Price range for the trip is 5-7K.

I'd go on a cruise before I did another all inclusive. Done the "upscale, adults only" all inclusive and still not impressed, and there is so much for kids to do on a cruise they would have a blast.

In general, kiddos are easier to please than the other traveler you mentioned.
They just want good wifi, burgers, a swimming pool, maybe a day at the beach, and icecream.
Trying to read the other traveler's mind is not my responsibility, so I will not attempt a suggestion.

All I need is an outdoor bar and some eye candy.

That would be found at the Adult Only resorts. Headed to one in a few weeks down in the Dominican Republic.

We took our 13y/o son with us to Playa del Carmen one summer. He got an eyeful of topless Euro babes with an occasional sagging 70 something. And then there were the despicable hairy armpits. You’ve been warned.

I spent 9 years in Europe back in the 80's and 90's. Hairy pits don't scare me.

The kids will love the cruise and since they can't just disappear you can let them have more freedom than on land.

I'd get a large room for you and the misses and let the kids have an inside cabin. They won't have a window but they won't care.

Two of my kids have taken their family to Atlantis in the Bahamas and came back happy with the experience. We took Mexico off our list a while back.
