Needing a new battery for my boat. I have 2 12v group 27 AGM for my trolling motor. Needing a new battery for the outboard. I currently have the garmin 93sv with 9" screen and livescope hooked up to it. Went out last weekend and after 3hours the outboard wouldn't even crank. Was going to go with a lithium ion, but after reading my outboard won't charge it. So I have decided to go with another AGM for the outboard and electronics. My question is, how big do I need? Will a group 27 or 29 work just fine? Or do I need a group 31? The outboard is a 40hp 2-stroke. I would like to be able to use my electronics for 8hrs and still be able to start my motor.

Thanks

If one 9" graph with live scope is all the electronics you have then a 27 will work just fine but bigger is always better.
