I dip, u dip, we dip! Not as much as I used to, usually mar-Nov. I buy blue ice crappie plastics and dip the tail on them, too. If itโ€™s not dipped, I rub some scent all over the baits. Smelly jelly for the Dub!

I think it really works, but more is not always better. A very tiny tail dip sometimes makes a huge difference. IMO

Charlie Reed the 1986 Bassmaster champ from my home lake when that dye first came out we were talking about it and asked him does it work? He said " if you go out to feed your coon dogs and you got a biscuit in each hand but one of them has red eye gravy on it, he is going to eat both of them but which one is he eating first"? Made sense to me.
