I've never fished that far north but it looks interesting on the map. Looking at the map it looks like I can launch at the ramp on Stubblefield Lake Rd. Anyone have experience fishing in that area? Is it accessible/worth fishing in a 21 ft bass boat or is it mainly kayak fishing up there?

Looks like it's labeled as "Canoe Access" on my map.
I have launched out of Cagle a few years ago, and that whole area north of the 1375 bridge is very stumpy from what I remember. But it was a relatively nice park (RV camped there with several other family members).

They re-did the ramp in last 2 years I think, we mainly kayak fished it, not sure what it turned out to be but on the other side of the bridge there I saw a lot of aluminum boats launch there before the renovation but nothing of the 21ft range.
Watch it happen, make it happen, or say what the hell happened. Capt. Phil Harris F/V Cornelia Marie RIP
