Went looking for the white bass on Belton today and all we found was no water anyone know how to find a spot on Belton

Looks can be deceiving. That water in the first picture is the main river channel of the Leon River. If you go farther north and west you will find plenty of water at Iron Bridge Park. I was there on Monday and found plenty of water to support spawning fish. It is still early and the water is cold. Give it a couple of more weeks and look again. Fish don't need much when it is spawning time. There used to be a log jam that slowed the fish down. I don't climb the banks like I used to do but there may be fish in the area soon. A lot of rain will make a difference. Good luck and tight lines.
