Yeah I dropped $150 at wal mart yesterday and left with few enough bags to carry them out without a basket. Sad times....

Don't tell me it's getting any better. Spent $200 in WalMart grocery store yesterday and didn't buy a single piece of Meat! I can't remember the last time I bought meat at WalMart. I only buy meat when it is on sale. I scanned the meat aisle looking for something to mix in with the venison I am going to grind hoping to maybe find something reduced. Even the worst cuts like chuck and stew meat started at $8/lb. I could have bought ribeyes on sale at Tom Thumb for close to half that. Other then eggs I have noticed that pet food has probably gone up the most.

Sleepy Uncle Joe is fixing this mess. He said the other night he inherited this mess.

Sleepy Uncle Joe is fixing this mess. He said the other night he inherited this mess. He also laid out a long list of more spending he wanted, which if actually initiated would drive inflation well into double digits.

I went for a quick visit to Kroger the other day.
I bought around $20 or so bucks worth of stuff, and it cost me $41!
Two years ago, I would have put that extra $20 in my tank.
Life...will life ever return to a true "normal," or are we in the "new permanent normal"?
...?

At least the price of the Premium Vanilla Ice Cream at Costco was a buck lower in price this month than it had been in a couple years......

Our energy sector and economy are being destroyed. Disposable income has been down on a monthly basis since this left wing pawn moron and his band of merry freaks took office. People have less and less money available for food, medicine, transportation, housing, and in general providing for their families. We continue to have shortages of products everywhere, and businesses still can't find employees. And yet, there are tens of millions of brainwashed nitwits who would vote to continue this disaster if we held another election today. It's incomprehensible. Who knew avoiding more mean tweets is more important than financial well being? The old axiom was that Americans voted their pocketbooks, but that was before the new generation of enlightened scholars started deciding things for all of us.
