Nice catch for sure.
It just goes to show you doesn’t matter if you are paying $600 a day or $2000, the guides on Ivie are going to front end you.. and you will pay for it, and you will like it.
The locals don’t tell everyone about their 16# and 17# fish and the guides are ruining their quiet little hideaway. I’m Just glad there aren’t any gar in that lake to eat all the big bass like what happened at falcon.

Might not be tons of giant alligator gar on Ivie, but there are tons of gar.
We’ve caught several that were 5 - 6’ on jugs.
