I started off by practicing on some articulated worms and lizards made mostly of chenille. Once i felt comfortable with assembling the spines i decided to give the feather gamechanger a try. Learned quickly that having sufficient hackle is a must. I thought a had a good bit of one color to create the needed tapering. Lack of a good selection made it difficult but ill still fish it. Looking forward to creating an arsenal of these.
that looks fishable! Let us know if you catch anything on it, I spent a hundred bucks on the gamechanger materials and I don't think I've caught a single fish to date with it.
I tried it out on a local pond. It looks good enough i suppose but next one will definately use tighter wraps and better material. No takers on it today. Thanks for the comments.
