Bad decision to open here in the first place. Not enough people here that will support high end bbq. Very little lunch traffic, which he soon learned and stopped being open for lunch. Food was always great, but not a good set up and the line was slow even when not busy. Sad to see them go but I understand.

Lets not forget maybe the owner of the building isn't renewing the lease with them? seems like that is exactly what is currently happening to some of the most popular places to eat in downtown fort worth right now.

I would think with the money they spent they had long lease with options. That's the way commercial stuff generally works. Nobody gonna spent 300k to 1 million in lease hold improvement with having location locked down. The fort worth stuff is happening at lease end many of which have been there for a while. Or they are just going out of business cause that area is problematic

I believe Brandon built that. I don't think it was a lease issue.. I do know the BBQ was always awesome. I didn't think the line was slow. Hopefully he can recoup som money. That land has to be worth quite a bit. Wishing him the best.

He put on FB or IG that the storm damage and pipes leaking among other things were the main factor of closing.
Smoke on!
