The ones I have had so far are the chicken cheese jalapeno and they are MONEY! The other one i had was spicy mole chicken and they were very good also.

Not true. You can get a permit and be licensed to make and sell food items from a home kitchen. There are hundreds of folks in this area doing it, mostly baked goods like cakes, bread, and pies but there are quite a few that make and sell tamales around here too.

Well I have spent most of my 73 years eating tamales and taco's and burrito's served out of ice chest in back of cars or vans and never did I get sick or feel bad. If you want to think government is king knock your self out. I didn't get the jab either and feeling pretty good about that right now

She might want to check into Texas cottage laws and rental commercial kitchens if she is serious about selling food. We have several food service owners on here that can enlighten you on selling food out of trunk of a car and legalities.
Correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding of the Texas cottage law relates to baked goods.

Then just don’t buy any. Tamales are supposed to have a little mystique to them. Illegal tamales would only make them better.
