Good evening y’all,
Been having a tough month of Lewisville and looking to try another lake, was wondering how the bass fishing as of recently has been on grapevine

Oh its been great! Big females are staging on secondary points and chomping on deep divers, c-rigs and jigs. The small mouth are active and biting along the damn on jerk baits and flukes.
Psych! Its been slow AF dude. Lewisville is likely better.

,if you follow the bait u will do good. Solid advice on any lake any time of the year pretty much  If Whataburger was the only place to get food most yall would not stray far from it...

I did hear from a Reliable source. That main lake points on north side , have been producing some solid fish.

My buddy and I got our [censored] kicked on Sunday. Also figured out why I don’t fish on weekends. Man I’m blessed to be able to rush weekdays

My buddy and I got our [censored] kicked on Sunday. Also figured out why I don’t fish on weekends. Man I’m blessed to be able to rush weekdays Saturday was pretty good for 46 degree water, but that bluebird sky on Sunday really shut em down, at least for me. The fish i caught were absolutely gorged, females looked like they had softballs in their belly.

Fish around twin coves, and Ice house point are footballs, If i was a betting man we need two or three more weeks for them to really get going,
U can get a good limit of overs if you cover water , I seen 1 bed today. and it was the size of bolwing ball

Lake is doing well, but it can be really mean to you as well. I'm still waiting on another monster smallie to show up on the forum. If you haven't fished the lake allot, it will be downright mean to you. There is allot of dead water.
A wise "old" man told me once. "It's not the rock piles, it's the one rock in the rock piles that holds the fish.". Something to chew on.

The only time I was in a boat that speared a wave, was on Grapevine, it was rolling real good that day.
