My Livescope screen will randomly freeze. I have checked all connections and power supply is good. Sometimes it comes back on, sometimes I have to reboot.
Also, it shows transducer is disconnected, then it will reconnect randomly.
Any help would be much appreciated. I have a GPS Ultra Map.
Thanks.

While I cannot comment to this specific issue as I've never seen it, Garmin customer service is SUPER helpful if you'll call them.

If your wire from the battery to the unit is not 10ga or thicker for a long run thru the boat. Might check voltage at the battery, and then at the unit when it is on. No butt splice connectors, or cheap connectors. Garmin 1222 with LS pulls more than 7A. Depending on the unit you have night change current used. The LS black box uses some juice. I would look at power, and make sure the installation is good for the current it uses.

What I have heard is Garmin customer service guy will answer calls on Monday and works at the bench rest of the week.

If I wire in another battery in parallel, will that help the voltage?

Run a 10-12g marine tinned copper wire directly from the battery to the unit with fuse close to the battery.

If you have a good battery and it isn't dropping a lot of voltage during a fishing trip, then wiring in another battery probably won't help it. If you are using a deep cycle FLA battery, then it shouldn't ever go below a 50% charge, and that would read around 12.1 volts with a multimeter. As stated above, you need a size 10 wire going directly to the battery. If you have all that and are running the battery below 12.1 volts, then wiring another battery in might indeed help, but I don't think that's the best solution.

Is the voltage low when the screen freezes? I would carry a multimeter with me when fishing and check the battery the next time it freezes. Don't trust the voltage that the fishfinder shows on the screen.

If you find out that your battery voltage is getting low and that is when the screen freezes, I think the first thing you need to do is to replace the battery. It shouldn't get that low during a fishing trip unless it's going bad. Good luck figuring it out.
