after several months of this post on the forum, zero replies. Eventually, a "potential" lurker opens the creaky door to this post, peaks inside, and says hello anyone home? Only the sounds of crickets can be heard in the dark background. Rather than post, he gently closes the door and leaves. The post finally shows 1 view.

sqeeeek.... the door open to unveil the scattering of a small group of engineers... they scamper away from a new NITRO Z-9 laying in two peices.... upon closer inspection notes reveal Kevin Van Dam hit a 2 foot wave and this boat just "broke in half".... it took the engineers several weeks to come to this conclusion....

Well so far I can say I honestly love my Nitro Z-9. The most stable boat I have ever been in and the driest ride I have had.

I love my 96 Nitro Fish and Ski. I stay dry even in heavy chop, and it cuts right through the waves good. Very smooth ride. I bought it new in 96 and it has been the best.

Tim, I'm a Long Time "Nitro Lover"...I've had mine (89 190 D/C) since 1991. I'm SERIOUSLY thinking of getting a Z-9, and I haven't been in one as of yet...but I'm wanting some Input from other Z-9 owners to see "How" they Like/Love their Boat. I am a Bass Cat guy but I sure did like that Nitro that give me a ride back to my truck after my lower unit froze up on Chambers Sat.

Fished the federation tourny at RC out of my new z-9 and I received a lot of compliments on the rig. One of the things that I really like about the boat is the beam width. I have a dual console and the extra width really makes it roomy around the console area. Some rigs with dual consoles really get tight.

NITRO's Rule, I just bougt a 1999 Nitro Savage 912 with a 225 Merc, and top speed according to the GPS is 72. Great, smooth and dry ride.

tim has a sharp looking Z-9 for sure. I liked it.

I owned a 1992 180TF for many year and never had a problem. Now I own a 2001 911. I love it, I havnt been wet once going across rough waters.

My Z9 comes off the line on the 23rd of July so only a few more days until I make the drive to Springfield to pick her up.

Have they started to produce the fuzion hulls again? I know the first ones after the recall are not but they plan on bringing it back when they get all the bugs worked out.
