Does Seven Coves Bass Club have a stance on it? I believe they've done a good bit of work replanting native aquatic vegetation.

Planting native vegetation is an absolute joke. All it's good for is a place to get your lure hung when you are trying to throw at the tiny clump of weeds in the wire cage.

It's the "feel good" solution

It is like peeing on a forest fire. Lots of good intentions, but not really going to help.

Be safe,

It would be interesting to see the "spray rate" of Corp lakes vs non corp lakes and which ones get the attention in this state.

If any efforts are to be made at saving the hydrilla in Conroe, it starts with SJRA. From what I can tell, TPWD is simply the executioner, not the judge.

This is exactly right. I've had discussions with TPWD regarding the hydrilla on Canyon Lake that the HOA's want gone. They have been fantastic to work with. Native vegetation doesn't hold quality fish as well as hydrilla, but it is extremely positive habitat for fry and fingerling.
