If frequently drop large turds that won't flush you can get a toilet seat with a bucket under it. Then you can just dump it in your neighbors yard. I have one in the shed at the deer lease. It sure beats squatting in the woods or sitting on a bucket.

Yes, England and Spain. Don't recall having any problems with toilets.

Lived in Europe for over five years and every one I saw or used only had water in the "hole." Had to adjust your aim if you wanted to hit water. Never saw a bowl full of water.
