I have caught several thousand bass on the lvs 32 & 34. I have caught some DD’s on the AT 1. I believe the only difference in these two units is the ability to see your bait at 60-100’. AT your bait pops and easy to find vs lvs 34 at extended ranges. I have tried all the settings. If you don’t need to see your bait at 60-100+ feet, lvs 34 is just as good or better.
Just depends how you fish.
I am switching from lvs 34 to AT 2 which I purchased from Russel Marine. I want to see my bait at extended ranges

To me. The Garmin is way clearer. That being said. I’m a 100% Lowrance guy. But I would like to see the above comment demo’d on both. The ability to see baits of different size in the water column. I do have to say on my Garmin in my boat, I have a hard time seeing my bait at times.

I don’t have ffs yet but to me the Garmin lvs34 has the clearest pictures but the Lowrance does have the better fish separations. May just be my eyes . But I would like to see the comparison of looking at you lures also.

I have AT. It’s horrible. Nobody should by it. Just keep using sonar.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

I would have to wonder why the Garmin image didn’t have the crazy wind back and forth, like the AT had. Different filming time I suppose. The 34 is definitely better, not even close IMO; but they do need to have both compared on a calm day. I still think the 34 wins.

I got the old cheapo 32 garmin Same here and have been thinking of upgrading. Reading all the hype about the AT2 so I’ve been holding off. Have to say, I think it was over hyped.

I will be adding either the bird mega 360 or Ghost 360. I’m running all Lowrance and ghost tm so still doing my research on the ghost 360. I just don’t want a lot of clutter up front. Been thinking of trading my Garmin in on an another Lowrance unit and running AT. But still questioning that even.

Sinkey,
I've been in several people's boats with Ghost 360 and based on what I've seen and their comments, I wouldn't recommend. You can not use the 360 if the trolling motor is engaged (can't anchor or move the foot pedal, if you do, the 360 automatically pauses). Not sure if you knew that or not but wanted to make sure you knew before you purchased. The people that have gotten them that I've worked with did not know that tidbit of info.

Ghost 360 gives some really impressive images, unfortunately you need a very slight breeze for it to be useful. Might be useful with power poles or raptors, but I don’t have them. On a really windy day, the ghost 360 is next to worthless.
