I was in the area again so I stopped and flew the drone over the new ramp site again. They are definitely making progress. There was a pretty good chop from the north coming down the lake and the new "jetty" was doing a good job of blocking it. This should be nice to use.

Thanks for the video as it brings back some amazing memories. Wish I had a nickel for every time I've crossed that bridge. Looks like the old Pendleton shop/bait house/restaurant/whatever it was is gone. Been fishing TB since 82 and feel like I practically grew up at Wright's Landing on the Louisiana side where my grandfather had a place and eventually ended up retiring there.

Man, the lake sure has changed over the years. fish

Thanks

Looking forward to going here.

Can anyone suggest places to stay in this area?

I crossed the bridge yesterday (Sat) and saw the construction. Will be very nice when completed.

Do not stay at the hotel just before you cross the bridge on the Texas side. I forget the name.
