Reading the rare fishing lure thread I was thinking that I had one of these hot lips Express lures that was mentioned so often. But after looking at pictures I don't think that's what I have.

What is this? No markings at all. I got it from a full Tackle Box I purchased it a garage sale. Everything else in The Tackle Box was from the late '80s to early 90s so I assume this is in that time frame.

That unique lip is designed to allow the lure to work through thicker brush. I caught some good ones on it back in the day.

It is a big fish bait; but with those original hooks most big bass will throw it. Change them out for KVD's

I remember seeing them in outdoor magazines, just couldn't remember what they called them. I think they were pretty popular in their day.

Collectors item. Great baits.
