Call Capt Butch Findley out of Fisheman's Wharf in Port A. Have been out with him numerous times with great success evertime. He is a great guy and one of the best guides I have ever fished with and has been doing it for 23 years+. I believe his site is El Gato Charters in Port Aransas. You wont be dissapointed. IMO

Just make sure who ever you pick, that they have all their permits and are 100% legal. Good luck to ya.

Thanks All! Our date was moved up, so now I'm trying to find a charter for this Saturday. If any captains are available, we are looking for a full day, 4 people out of Galveston area.

How much do these guides cost that are being recommended in this thread? And do they run out for tuna?

Have you called Donny? He has put together some last minute trips for us. He also knows a lot of guys that charter too. He might be able to hook you up with one of his neighbors. He lives on a canal in Freeport, and there are a lot of his guide buddies that live very close to him. You should give him a call.
