for those who have had it, how long was the new eyeballs vision fuzzy?

I can tell the vision is better but things are fuzzy.

Sounds like a episode of "King of Queen" when he got her cataract surgery with a coupon.

It edema from the inflammatory response to the cut in your eyeballs. Continue to use the drops they prescribed and it will clear up.*

Mine was 20/20 within a couple days. Probably not unusual to need a tweak- bet the doc can fix you up.

Took about a week or so for mine to totally clear. I used the drops prescribed during that time and the eye cleared up little by little.

Had my left eye done on December 15th and the right one done on the 22nd. Vision never was fuzzy after either surgery. I chose the "basic" lenses, which improved my night time driving and distance sight. Still use OTC readers when I need to see small close up print. Worse part of the whole ordeal was the follow-up eye drops. Drops to help regulate pressure: 2 times a day, each eye until bottle was empty. Steroid / antibiotic: 3 times a day, each eye for 3 weeks. Preservative-free tears: 4 times a day, each eye for 3 weeks. Overall, this was the easiest procedure I've had. No pain, no discomfort, and my vision is great!

I dunno, I still have my cataract. Mine was from an injury as a child and won't ever get worse so they told me to just ignore it.

My right eye has some cloudiness (<5%) from my surgery 10 years ago. The eye doc said it is a quick fix with a laser if it ever started to bother me. The only time I notice it is when I'm trying to read small white letters on the TV screen.

Sounds like a common problem. The fix is done with a YAG laser. From my experience, the procedure takes about 30 seconds and you do not feel a thing. I would suggest you do it but you will likely be mad at yourself for not getting it done earlier.
