Just trying to scare him would/could have been a lethal mistake-

Knowing how much a house cat hurts/stings when it scratches, I can’t even begin to imagine how badly a Mtn Lion would hurt!

I don’t think it would be that bad. I wish one o them mountain lions would try and scratch me.

Have a buddy that lives and hunts in Montana. Said he was told by an old elk guide that if a mountain lion wants to kill/attack you, you won't know of its presence until you feel your spinal fluid running down your back from your neck.

He said a mountain lion that faces you right on, is only trying to push you out of his area because kittens are nearby.

If you are fortunate enough to see one crouched down trying to remain hidden from you, you better come up with plan quickly.



That being said, I would have been shooting to kill that one in the video earlier.
