Took my nephew to pk this morning. Launched at 7:45, and checked all the usual spots, river drops, humps, and couldn’t find anything. Checked an old submerged road bed, toward the back of a big cove and they were stacked on it. Fast and furious, on the sandbass. Using a tandem rig with slab and small jig, had several doubles. Used the thumper. Left them biting at 10:00. Kept 35 for a fish fry. Didn’t keep track after we quit keeping them, but close to 75. 32’ of water, fish were bottom up to about 20’. Only 2 strippers.
