Just wondering when air temperature reaches high of the day around 70 -75 degrees. Should I be searching for shad in the creeks or mouth of the inlet/river? It has been kinda odd, maybe someone can share there experience. Thank you.

Bank Walkers around here always said that the "Time To Go" was when it was really cold and nasty.

But, who knows for sure. Someone will be along to elaborate.

Trying to catch a few crappie at Ray Hubbard has really been hard lately. fishing out in the marinas has been a bummer. don't have a boat so depend on the bank and marina's mostly. Hope it will be better this spring. Don't jig much, minnows and worms. I like going to Tawakoni. Living in Garland. Any suggestion?

I follow a few Facebook pages for DFW fishing and I have seen that Rowlett Creek has been on fire for crappie. I usually take what people post on there with a grain of salt but it does look like most people are doing well.

You could give it a shot but, jut be prepared, it will be combat fishing shoulder to shoulder, especially around Miller Road.

Note: I haven't been to Rowlett creek yet this year, just sharing what I've seen on FB.
