Hey friends, I hope everyone has had a wonderful day. I’m coming to my fishing brothers in need of a favor. Before you stop reading, I know I am one of the last people on here who should ask for favors. Many of you I have harassed and rubbed the wrong way at times. I’m sorry for that. My oldest friend has been battling cancer and it will one day take him From us. When, we aren’t sure of yet. I am hoping to do something nice for him and provide some great memories for him. He is not a fisherman, but his son is. His boy absolutely loves to bass fish, and he is unable to take him. I am simply asking for help in finding a private body of water to take him fishing. Catch some bass and maybe a good size one and make a photo album for his dad. Something his dad would hold special. I’m not telling his dad about this, and his dad wouldn’t want any fanfare or a big deal made of this. I’m simply going to take his boy fishing, take some pics and maybe some video and make the picture book with their names on it for him to have. If you know of a good pond that may be able to accommodate an aluminum bass boat, I’d be very grateful. Please know, this is not a plea to fish a stud pond or anything like that, although I figured a private pond would greatly increase his chances of catching some and maybe a bigger one. I just want to do something good for a great dad and friend. If you can help, please PM me. I will be in your debt. Thank you all for your time. FTT

Brandon Dillard is guiding on a private place and it's supposed to be awesome. It's 1000+ acres so it could be the whole "bass fishing experience" not just fishing from the bank.

I would be happy to contribute some cash towards a trip

Doug, I would pitch in some money, if it’s PayPal, that’s the only thing I have. If you guys get it setup, shoot me a PM.

Tyler Syate Park might work. They are stocking trout right now and I know a few folks throwing large trout swim baits that seem to catch large basses. Just a thought.

It might help to let the forum members know a general area you want to fish.

Addendum: I still can't stand TBrady. He cheats. Doh!!!

All the best and blessings to you and your friend! IN65/joe

Any guides on here that are on the fish at the moment? I'll chip in on the cost. Seems like a great opportunity to lend a hand for lasting memories for the son and Frank's friend.

I’m in the Tyler area and he pretty much is too. He’s closer to Dallas than me.

I will chip in.

Some people go to church and think about fishing. Some go fishing and think about God.
