My wife used to love braunschweiger sandwiches with onions and mustard. I can’t even stand the smell of it. Anyone else like this nasty stuff?

Love it with raw onions and Brown German mustard on seeded rye.
I have 2 chubs in the freezer of Nueske's Applewood smoked Liver pate' for those "Special" occasions.

I don’t like anything liver but she convinced me to try it. I couldn’t get past the texture.

Add a Cold glass of Milk and a sweet n sour pickle, then it will be edible. Load it heavy with mayonnaise.

my dad used to have it all the time -- heavy amounts of mayo and mustard --yuck .
He also used to eat pickled pigs feet and raw onions --ugh

I guess there will no need for pickled pigs feet when the greatest generation are gone.

Head cheese, scrapple, braunsweiger etc have a place but not on my list
