Weather was beautiful and I fished Lake Belton alone to start the new year. Started at 7:30 AM and dead sticked the main lake in 25 to 30 feet of water. I used a 6 inch fluke and a 4 inch fluke tamdum rig with a 1 oz screwlock jig on the bottom. It was a fun day and I caught 44 fish. 16 of them were hybrids with the biggest weighing 5.5 pounds. Most were small and only 3 were keepers. There was a full limit of whites to 13.5 inches. Most were 12 inch range. All fish were released safely for another day. I need help finding 1 oz screwlock jigs. I am almost out and don't remember who I bought them from. Someone give me a shout. Happy New Year to all and tight lines.
