Got my first boat last month. Still haven't been able to get it on the water. I keep saying next weekend but it's been one thing after another. Anyways, the 3~ times I went with my co worker on his bass boat, he at least had a small gun in his truck. Not sure if he ever took it on the boat. I'm a little worried about actually somehow losing it, if I do carry it. You know, "Lost all my guns in a boating accident" lol.

I appendix carry a S&W Bodyguard .380 in a cheap IWB suede leather holster. What do you carry? Where? Lanyard?

Thanks,
Swyt

Be aware the lake. Belton is Federal. No carry what so ever.

Not even a S&W 642 Airweight, 38special. Not on Federal property. No matter crazy the parking lot. Or the random people smoking something behind the rock by the cliff.

I just wanna fish. So don't do it and let's imagine it's not what folks do.

Walking back to a dark parking lot? Not on Federal property. I don't carry a revolver. That's wrong.

No one is going to frisk you in your boat or walking to the ramp. 22 years of carrying. Never been asked to be frisked. No US Federal Marshall is going to do a gun check at the boat ramps anywhere.

No. People where I'm at tend to leave you alone. Launch, fish, go home.

If someone pulls a gun on me at the lake or I have to defend myself I'm probably going to die.

I went to the lake to relax and have a good time and make some friends along the way.

I just carry rum with me. The pirates prefer rum to a fight.
