A couple of friends and I went fishing at the Clements Scout Ranch yesterday in Athens, and look what we caught..... Notice the yellow frog in his mouth in the close-up pic. He came up and bit the frog, cut the braid, and then spit the frog..... Good times!!! We've seen some gators in there through out the years that'd easily go over 10-12 feet. Although this one was no where near this big it's still fun to watch them..

cool pics that would make a good diner if you got it in. What is the law about catching them, do you have to let them go or what.
Thanks for the pics.
John

Don't know the state law, but at the Scout Ranch, everything is catch and release.... There are some monster bass in that place. They eluded us today, but we'll be back with a vengance...

This thing swam half way across the lake to chase down a lunker lure.... I guess they're hungry, I don't know?

Ha ha ha... Nope. I've got a bad habit of biting my line instead of cutting it, and I was cleaning an old knot out of the eye of my pop-r.... Kinda looks like it though.

Spent a few nights out there as a kid myself.

I don't really know the name of the different camps out there. I think the lake is called Murchison lake os something like that. I went with my best friend that is an Eagle Scout also. We're real good friends with the new Ranger.....

I believe that its. I havent been out there in almost 8 years, time sure does fly when you get older and start thinking about being a kid and not paying bills. Man I can only imagine what old age will bring as I am only 24 and already scared. haha
