Okay, so a Russian was selling weapons to our enemies. Were his sales legal from a Russian point of view? We sell lots of weapons to the enemies of Russia. If you could make 100 million selling weapons to the Ukrainians and the transactions be lawful from a US point of view would you hesitate much on that transaction? My whole point here is it's not clear to me this guy is any more of a monster than a bunch of people walking around free and rich in our country who have a lot of blood on their hands.

The real travesty here in my mind is two-fold. 1. There are people sitting in US jails for the same crime. Freeing this lady and leaving them to rot is unjust. 2. The marine should have been brought home.
