Never owned a Diawa rod. I will be pairing it with Tatula so this might work.

I was strictly a Falcon BuCoo guy (medium heavy). In my opinion that's one of the best rods under $100, but my fiancé gave me a Shimano SLX last year and its more sensitive that my Falcons. I got a Medium action for throwing the Senko's and drop shots. the biggest I've caught on it thus far was a 6 lber so I don't know how it'll hold up to a real hawg.

I've been pleased with the Dobyn's Fury for that.
FR-733C

I bought one on a whim and acquired a second one in short order. They're both on the deck of my boat quite a bit!

Either Falcon Weightless Worm or Finesse Jig rod. In the Lowerider, Expert or Cara line. The finesse jig has a little more backbone and little longer. I have or had all of them.

I use the 7'3" Tatula (Non elite, cork handle). I like it

I wish I could put all of these in my hands before buying. The BPS here doesn’t have a very big selection.

The weightless worm rod is too “whippy”. Seems like whatever is on it is either too light to cast, or too heavy. A weightless senko is too heavy. I have three if I had it to do over again, I’d have not ordered a single one of that model. I would have ordered 10 lizard draggers.

Let me guess, it was a Dobyns?
