I have a 2013 Ranger 520C. I want to put a foot button on the front to trim up the outboard. See pics. Which wires do I need to tap into? The plug has two black wires, one red, one yellow, and one orange/white. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/12/full-56016-162855-wires_1.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/12/full-56016-162856-wires_2.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/12/full-56016-162857-button.jpg)

Normally trim is red hot, blue up, green down. Or at least that has been my past experience. Not sure on that there.

Just remember, blue sky is up, green grass is down.

Why would you use a TM switch on the bow to run your tilt and trim? Are you going to out two of them? One up and one down ?

Just want one button to trim up. There are no blue or green wires up there. See photo.

I would use a meter to see which wire gets power when you hit the switch up.

Most Rangers have a wiring diagram printed on a nice layed out picture under the rear most back deck lid. Look there. The wire colors above are correct as others have posted, but sometimes boat brands don't make it that easy on us. LOL. Check for that diagram you should find your answer.
