I just found his channel now that I’m retired and have time to see what’s out there in the ether.
Interesting and educational episodes, especially on swimbaits.
Anybody else watch this?

If you REALLY want to go down the swimbait rabbit-hole, there are better avenues. SwimbaitUniverse on Facebook, SwimbaitUnderground web forum, Swimbait Reviews on Youtube.
All of these have resources in and around them that are exceptionally informative.
For Ben and his videos, rarely am I finding information. Generally watch out of boredom and get a kick out of him pissing off all the Conroe locals since he is a transplant.

Chris Zaldain uses lots of different swimbaits and has a youtube channel
When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

Yeah, I’ve been on Swimbait Underground for over a decade. I’m just now getting out on YouTube to see what’s out there. Milliken’s videos are entertaining though some are pretty basic and don’t cover much new ground. Fishing a glide bait with the fast “chopping” retrieve was new to me and I’m going to be trying it out.

Fishing a glide bait with the fast “chopping” retrieve was new to me and I’m going to be trying it out. Make sure you have the right glide to do so. That "choppy" glide is going to be smaller baits that just kind of turn, more than glide i.e FOM, KGB, HPH etc. I try to use them like a jerkbait around cover. Won't quite get your desired results if you try this with baits that are designed to have a wide glide. Bucca, Deps, BGC, Hoog and others. Covering lots of water and trying to peak the interest of the biggest active predator around.

I sold a Hinkle a year back to fund a new trolling motor, some new lures, and EVA foam for my Jon boat!

I never knew who he was until I heard he was going to fish the opens by listening to Bass Talk Live . Looked up his YouTube channel and he has an interesting enough content .
Hope he does well .

Sure do.
Good stuff. He puts in the time and work for sure. Respect his skills and drive to not just make videos but go out with a purpose each time.
It will be interesting to see how his style fares in the Opens and how sustainable he will be for multi day events.
The way he fishes he could have a mega bag one day, not limit out the next and still make cuts.
