Came off a successful elk hunt and got back on Whitney this past week. We didn’t catch a fish deeper than 6ft, and they were all working under birds. We put our 20 in the box by 9-9:30, then just had some fun for another hour or so. Everyone on board was throwing a White Hot Thump Daddy from Constant Pursuit Outfitters on a one ounce chartreuse head. A medium to fast pace retrieval was key.

I have a good chunk of weekdays left open in December if anyone is in need of a rough thumb and a sore wrist. After Christmas, we kickoff our guided deer hunts to polish off our MLD tags and focus on putting a different kind of meat in people’s freezers.
