All that matters is the driver.... You could hang a 450 on that rig with the correct operator After owning that 340 Ranger I mentioned in a previous post to this thread, I could probably drive it even if it had 450 horsepower. Something I've learned about hull technology in the newer boats is they seem to be a lot more stable than the one's built back in the 80's and 90's. My bug is so stable at full speed I feel like I'm driving a school bus compared to the older boats I've owned. They all felt like I was driving an over powered hot rod @ top end.
