I love my older G. Loomis rod. I've used it every time I go fishing for 15 years. I always thought I had a lifetime replacement warranty. Then I thought it changed to $100 per rod. I went to the GLoomis website. I never registered my rod 15 years ago. I love that rod. I did the online Chat with a person. They told me how to register the rod and after I did that. I was able to look at Warranty service, again, no. But they do have a no questions asked how your rod broke or the receipt. I was able to ask for the Xpeditor program and if approved I will get a new rod - similar to mine for r $130. That will be a fanatic deal. Its not approved yet. Under review. But that is amazing.

No questions asked. I paid $130 and a new one is on the way. Amazing. It was approved for the Xpeditor program in 1 day. Great service all around.

And who says "they dont make things like they used to"! Is that service or what? And to have a rod last 15 years is a feat in itself. I would have at least stepped on it and crushed the guides in less than five years for sure.

I got an email a new rod is on its way. Amazing. Yes, over loaded the rod with Braid 20 ish vs 8 lb and landed many fish. I've stepped on the guides and others have too. Amazing Rod.

I got a host of Gloomis rods from 20 years ago or more to one I just bought a week ago. I even have one really special rod that Gary Loomis his self gave me at an event 20 years ago. I love each and everyone of them. I really hate the idea of sending any of mine in for repair, as I was told your old rods that have Gary's reel seat are replaced now with the fuji reel seat like what comes on all the new. Nothing against the fuji seat, I just want to keep my Gary Loomis seats that I have.
Never heard about needing to register them, guess I will be doing that though.
