Going to take my brother on his annual fishing trip. Usually take him to Welsh so he can catch numbers.

Is ramp ok to launch, any issues?

Was out there last Saturday, Ramp and lake level was fine for us to launch/load. A little silted in on the sides and a runoff drain is beginning on the entrance side so take it slow…
Water was around 63-65 and pretty clear most of the lake. A little less so up north due to recent rain; but, still good.
Plenty of grass all around the lake, a lot of it ~ 6” to 1’ under water. Power plant not generating while we were there (I don’t know how much; or, if it has run at all lately, water temps seem pretty consistent with other area lakes.)
Even with post-front conditions, Good numbers of under 18” fish… only a couple over 18” for us this time.
As always, be careful of stumps all around the lake… a couple seemed to have moved around a little.
Good luck!
