Probably be the opposite of inflation. Deflation would be even more painful. I remember back in the 60s or so when we talked a lot about zero population growth and for awhile took it seriously. But suddenly we realized our economy depends on growth and without it we get stagnation. You probably voted for Jimmy Carter….
